the joyful home schooler.

this is the title of the book that i am reading right now.
it goes really good with a cup of coffee [or tea].
been praying for God to teach me joy that is not fleeting.
i want my children to know joy.
joy that does not fade with the ebb and flow of life.
a poem in chapter four made jeff and i pause. and even read it again.

I AM
I was regretting the past
And fearing the future.....
Suddenly, my Lord was speaking:

"My name is 'I am.'" He paused.
I waited. He continued.

When you live in the past, with its mistakes
and regrets, it is hard. I am not there.
My name is not 'I was.'

When you live in the future, with fears, it is hard,
I am not there.
My name is not 'I will be.'

When you live in this moment, it is not hard.
I am here.
My name is 'I AM.'"

joy is found in the moments where He is.
i pray for you to have a wonderful weekend
being in the moment
with Him.
He
will
not
let
you
fall.

happy weekend!

That is a wonderful poem. I do realize that we learn from our past, but there is no reason to live in it. And it's OK to look forward to some things, but the moment is truly what it is all about. Such a good message.
